When I was identified as an atheist, I came to realise something that changed my views completely. Without religion to be against, I had no identity. I was atheist simply because there was religion to oppose. So what would happen if there was no religion? What would happen to me as an atheist? That was enough to cracks through my identification as an atheist to inspire a new journey. I found myself still seeking, and I became hopeful again.
